15 years of independent Uzbekistan

In this year to Uzbekistan 15 years were executed. But it already on a full basis is a part of the most authoritative and influential international organizations, increasing friendly communications with tens countries on all continents, closely cooperate with the largest bank bodies, not state and nongovernmental organizations. In republic 88 foreign representations are accredited, 24 intergovernmental organizations and 13 nongovernmental organizations operate. For last years the republic has joined many major international conventions.

         In various directions of the international attitudes we perceive successful development of external communications as a guarantee of safety, stability. Uzbekistan is opened to the world. And we feel, that the world shows huge interest to Uzbekistan. And it is the Best guarantee for steady development of Uzbekistan. In it we see the certificate to that Uzbekistan becomes more and more attractive, both from positions of capital investments, and from a position of maintenance of stability in region as a component of universal global safety.

XXI century is a century of globalization in the international attitudes. In these conditions process of integration, expansion of participation of the sovereign states both the international institutes and the organizations is necessary for considering not only as historical inevitability, but also as the powerful factor of stability of stabilization, as separate regions, and as a whole - in scale of all planet.

Here any more there is no question, to participate or not in the international integration processes. For Uzbekistan as new not dependent, solving gets first of all strict observance of those basic principles of foreign policy about which it was spoken above, based reasonable expediency and long-term interests of our state, a society and the person.

And as a result I am proud of the native land. I am glad that was born in Uzbekistan. And I hope that by 20 years of independence Uzbekistan becomes still more prospering and developed state.
